He’s lovely, Koishii. 😀 He looks like he just climbed out of an Arabian Nights jewel box! I particularly like your brainstorm of blue antiquing beneath what looks like copper but is probably pink and purple scales. The shading on his face and wings is also fabulous; I love your choice of colors here.
For his paw, how about perusing the bead store? You could get a circular earwire like Nam used, then string a bead or three onto it: maybe a reddish-purple fancy jasper with a small gold bead on either side, or a cloisonne bead in his colors, or a dichroic, or a few filigree gold beads (a prize for his hoard). Gold-colored earwires are a little harder to find, but they have to be out there somewhere. In a pinch, a twist of heavier-gauge gold-colored wire from Michael’s could be made into a circlet too.

Oh, I like that name! Like the grass and leaves all frosted over in the morning (like when you are up just before sun rise, the sun is in the horizon coming up), and some of the brush that has those pretty red-brown branches. I like! I like the dragon too! 🙂
