Hi! This may not be the correct place for the question but I did not see a better one….I was just wondering if anyone knew if the Ki-Rin #920 Pearl/Brown baby unicorn that was retired in 2004 would be worth putting up for sale? I have one that has a few tiny chips (only one is obvious). I could not find any on the internet for sale anywhere so was not sure if it is just something to give my daughter as a toy or try to sell π
Any comments appreciated!

August 1, 2015 at 9:30 am #932725I’ve seen them sell on eBay for around $50. You could also put an ad up here in the classifieds.
August 1, 2015 at 1:49 pm #932738If you want to try your luck and sell it, 50 dollars is a fair start, however, chips may cause that to drop on you a bit, depending where they are and how bad they are. If you need help posting pictures, just holler!
The idea of it being a child’s toy, makes me want to run over there in slow- mo screaming “noooooooooooooo” lol!
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!
August 2, 2015 at 7:00 pm #932788Thank you all for the advice – I promise not to give it to the grandkids! I think I will give ebay a try π The chips are small and only one spot on a toe is noticeable. This is a fantastic forum!

August 3, 2015 at 10:21 am #932817I took a magnifying glass and went over the little guy carefully – there are more chips than I originally thought. They are not noticeable until magnified, but I don’t think it will sell π
August 3, 2015 at 10:45 am #932818It still might sell better than you think. There are several Windstone collectors that do repairs or re-paints that like to find slightly damaged pieces to work on.
It is worth trying anyhow.Good luck!

StormDancer is right. You might even try here on the classifieds before selling on eBay. There are collectors who don’t have a baby KiRin and would take one in almost any condition. The KiRins usually sell pretty quickly regardless of their condition. Besides, if it took a magnifying glass for you to find the chips, they are very tiny and aren’t likely to bother anyone. One of my first baby KiRins came to me with a chipped ear. Didn’t bother me one tiny bit. I did get it fixed, though.
So, I’d post an ad and see where you go.

Either this guy sold really fast or your ad didn’t go through. I’m not seeing anything by you in the Classifieds.

I can’t find it, either.
