I leave for the hospital in 40 minutes or so, to have the permanent implant placed for my feet. I’m really nervous because it gets implanted into the spinal column, but the amount of relief I got from the test implant makes me hopeful that I’ll at least be able to stand or go for walks at the least. So, please wish me luck and hopefully I’ll be on of the lucky ones that get major relief! (praying really hard) Thanks for all your support!
Good luck! My mom has very painful feet as well, so as the daughter of a mom with painful feet, I wish you only the best. My mom is going to have to have surgery at the earliest possible time I can be home to take her to the doctor.
Thankies guys for all your support! So we’re about 5 days out from the surgery and my back feels worse than my feet! I am now operated by remote control *snerk* Silly boyohs and dad think that mum can be turned off or at the very least muted… It is kinda funny though when you stop to think about it 😀 The hard part is putting down the remote and then not remembering where it got set down OR getting it mixed up with one of the television remotes (darn thing!!! why aren’t you changing channels!!!!) I go back to see my surgeon on Friday when he will hopefully get rid of the staples. So far there’s been NO reaction to any adhesive. Yay! More later!
