We figured out a solution for the closet and Karli’s room, so we’re going to be working on that immediately.
We had a bit of help from a friend, so we can get the materials we’re gonna need, so if all goes as hoped, this thing will get finished in time and the refi will go through without a hitch. Considering last time, I am not expecting it to go perfectly smoothly, but with luck we will still go through by the end of Oct.

Karli’s alcove transformation into and official room. You can see the door in it’s frame against the wall in the first couple pictures.
All of the drywall is installed and the first coat of mud is on now, but I’m gonna wait to take the rest of the pictures until after the door is installed.
Likely the door will be installed tomorrow..and then it will be done! Yay, we’re a 4 bedroom house now!

I’m actually getting things all back in line too. In about 6 weeks I should be all back on track the NASTY bill has been paid in full!!

I’m sorry you are going through this period of stress because of the collection agency.
But I’m glad things are looking up for you guys. 😀

I’ll post pictures of the finished wall and door tomorrow…Karli isn’t so sure she likes having a wall and door, it’s going to take some getting used to…she really seemed a bit upset to have the door shut last night, so we ended up leaving it open.
Yay! Refinance is all done, garnishments have stopped and we are in the black! I am so relieved, just in time to help some dear friends of ours who just got put in the same situation we just got out of…oy…those collection agencies are being nasty these days.
There has been a lot of small claims and garnishments going around lately, nearly everyone I know has been getting hit with this stuff. When you don’t have medical insurance it is easy to get in this boat, not so easy to get out.

even with medical insurance i got in that boat too for 4,000. i hate those collection companies they buy the debt for less than half , then sew you for all of it, what a sham
Oh! I don’t know how I could have missed this earlier Kyrin! I am so happy that the garnishments stopped!! I also hoped that your hubby stopped lecturing you about it! 😉
Karli will get used to her new room I am sure, and I know you’ll doll it up for her!! 😀
