Found the website via deviantart, where I was gobsmacked to find the creator of the beautiful peacock Mother Dragon, who has been sitting in the corner on the bend in my stairs for the last 16 years – since we moved into this house. I can’t remember when I got her, just that it was before I met my hubby in 1991. I had a substantial collection of dragons back then, but had to reduce my collection when we moved to a smaller house….but I would never part with my beautiful Windstone! Whilst I still have little space, I might just have to find room for a dear little Poad

I’m quite intrigued by the idea of PYO too…..but I really must try to rein in my enthusiasm and remind myself of the space issue lol….we need elastic walls!

Well, it’s getting late here, and that’s probably enough of my rambling. Just wanted to say “Hello – it’s nice to meet you” 🙂

Welcome to the forum, Valhallia! I definitely agree that you should ‘adopt’ a little Poad! They don’t take up much space and they’re so adorable in person! -Think of it as a way to celebrate your new arrival here! 🙂

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome 🙂

In answer to your question John, the cars that we have currently are a 1955 Ford Zodiac and a 1976 TVR Taimar. Previous cars: 2 x Alvis TD21 (early 1960s), 1957 Chrysler Windsor (gotta love those fins and chrome) and 1950 Rover “Cyclops”. The last was my “daily driver” for a while – I loved that car <3 My current ride is a PT Cruiser, and whilst its not a classic, I still love it for its retro looks 🙂
