I usually just paint it in the dominant color of the piece…whatever I have on my brush when I get to the bottom. 😀

i don’t paint mine. since when i hold my pyo while painting, my brush paints some of the bottom, so it has a ring of weird color mess and the felt pad covers the white gypsom. I tried painting them for a while, but they were messy and i did not like the way that would turn out.

Hey thanks a lot. I’ve left two of mine blank on the bottom but I just wasn’t sure if that was cool to do or not.

And just another question…does everyone use the antiqueing (SP? lol)?? I’m not sure if I want’ to do it on my most recent pyo. It would be my first time using it so I really don’t want to mess up. I figure if you don’t have to and if some of you don’t bother then perhaps I won’t either.

I don’t use it, because I tried it once and it was a huge mess. So I dry brush, and that works great for me. 😀

I paint all of mine black…and personally I prefer when they are painted on the bottom in either black or a dominant color… 😀 To me it just makes them look complete when they are painted.. 😉
