“Juno” is my first wolf I’ve done, and has been waiting patiently for me to paint him. (For over a year he’s been sitting in my craft room waiting on me!)
He is a husky cross with a Northern Harrier hawk coloring on the wings. He took about.. *thinking*.. twelve hours of painting, and there is a million layers of wash on him so the coloring is well blended and gradually fades, especially in his fur. I’m very pleased with how he turned out.
I harrassed my sister to let me borrow her camera, so we’ve got much better pictures now. (See above) As much as I would love to keep him, I just can’t afford it right now, so he’s now listed on ebay:

(There’s more pictures of him there too!)
January 26, 2009 at 11:58 pm #750130That’s beautiful! I’ve been wanting to paint a PYO wolf like a husky, too…just got to get my paws on a PYO wolf first 🙂
January 27, 2009 at 12:17 am #750131Oh, he’s looking good. Would love to see better pics if you can get them.
January 27, 2009 at 1:00 am #750132I’m loving what I’m seeing, and I’d really love to see more! 😀 Nice work!

January 27, 2009 at 6:32 am #750134He looks great. Do you have a bigger photo of him?
January 27, 2009 at 1:11 pm #750135I agree: we need a bigger/clearer picture. We’re missing on the details!

Thank you! I had wondered if it was someone from the site who had got him- i hadn’t recognized the name though. Glad to know he ended up with someone who I know will appreciate him.
Thanks!

I really enjoy the winged wolf. I’ve got ten of them now. I like yours because he is different from the rest. It’s one of the first ones that I have gotten that is more natural looking. (for a winged wolf)
