Are those new photos of the cougar? I don’t recall there being as much grey on their backs the first time they were stocked. Or am I imagining things?

I thought the same thing, but maybe I’m remembering the photos that mashubert posted in “Straggler Cougars?”. That cougar does not seem to have the grey on his back the way the store photo does.

We did change the picture for the restock because the 2nd batch looked less like the original picture, and more like the new picture. The cougars vary slightly in color markings (just like real cougars) and batches will probably vary. We try to show a picture that is close to what most of a batch looks like.

Thanks. I’m in Maryland, western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. We have a lot of trees and shrubs around the community – the cougar was relaxing in front of some azaleas.
