Well, I am looking for a job. I have an English Degree and a Secondary Education Degree. I also have an Associate in Arts Degree. I had the plan of being a teacher, but now I don’t want to be a teacher because of the amount of work it requires. I knew this to begin with, but with a baby now-I don’t want to have such a high demand job to work on at home as well. Does anyone have any ideas of a job opportunity I could look for? I am not talking about cashier/food service/ etc. I have done that already. I am in this for the long haul, and I want a job that pays relatively well. I am just stuck on what to look under in http://www.careerbuilder.com.
What about writing? Editorial/copywriter/freelance/etc.
I’m sure a job search with ‘writing’ as your keyword would turn up tons of stuff.
What Rusti said. Careerbuilder is an excellent website; I had them critique my resume when I was job-hunting. Good luck in your hunt!
Check out indeed.com it is a metasearch of job sites. It can even look in a specific area and you can set it to send you daily updates on your search. Be careful though it is pretty literal so you have to search the right words.
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
