Alright, since the listing has ended I think I can post here now. I didn’t want to post earlier because it was sort of a hidden auction…
This guy:
Hopefully the link works.
Is that a true jade scratcher?
I’m a little irritated that the listing ended early…at $1 over my high bid, as I was debating upping my bid. It’s a good thing, since we might be buying a car today (yay!) but still…irritating.
But that’s beside the point. Is that a jade scratcher? If so, the winner got a fantastic deal!
July 3, 2008 at 4:23 pm #496043July 3, 2008 at 4:30 pm #719726It looks like it could be a jade. It’s pretty dark for an emerald I think.
July 3, 2008 at 4:43 pm #719727Fairly certain that’s a Jade.
July 3, 2008 at 5:03 pm #719728I actually sent the seller a message before there were any bids on the dragon asking if there was a BIN & the seller replied that he/she would for a reasonable offer . I wrote back to ask what they thought was a reasonable offer & this was the sellers response ‘Unfortunately someone already placed a bid on the item ; I can not end the auction . An exact MINT condition piece such as this with all the tags, box ,and papers goes for 300.00 retail. I was hoping to get half of that’ . I took the seller at their word & sent a message back to say that I would be watching the auction & then I read the post here that the auction has ended 😥 . Makes me feel a bit of a twit that I believed & respected what the seller told me 😳 .
July 3, 2008 at 5:08 pm #719729I thought it was Emerald?
July 3, 2008 at 5:11 pm #719730Officially the color is Emerald, but it has been unofficially dubbed as Jade since it is so different from Emerald.
“Emerald” on left, “Jade” on right. Pipsxlch has/had both of these.
July 3, 2008 at 5:18 pm #719731Aaaaaah, I see. Thanks Pegasi!

Well that’s irritating…yuck!
July 3, 2008 at 5:44 pm #719733Who wants to bet that they didn’t sell it for $52? 😉 😆 Too bad they didn’t let the auction run….I bet it would have approached at least $250. I was going to take a serious stab at it. Best of luck to the “winner”….I bet now they are dealing with an “off-eBay” transaction.
July 3, 2008 at 6:06 pm #719734I sent the seller a message asking what had happened to the auction & this was the reply -‘ I apologize . However , a more experienced ebayer walked me through the process . In the future , bid your maximum ; that way nobody can outbid you so easily .’ Guess I’m not pushy enough 😆 .
July 3, 2008 at 6:44 pm #719735*pouts* >_< i wish i had known about that auction.
July 3, 2008 at 7:29 pm #719736I was watching that auction and was going to bid if it stayed low enough. I wondered what happened to it 😕
July 3, 2008 at 7:35 pm #719737I was watching too. Wonder how much he really got for it. 🙄
July 3, 2008 at 7:39 pm #719738I’ve got a question. According to ebay:
Quote:The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price.
So should I list the dragon in the sales database at that high price or not list it at all?
