Just found this on Ebay, though you guys are probably all over it…they are the retired Jade Orientals, Mint condition. This seller has all three:

February 3, 2007 at 5:52 am #535449There’s a difference between jade and emerald? I thought Windstone only made two colors on these…red and the green?
February 3, 2007 at 6:15 am #535450Ummm… Wow, now I’m confused. Maybe you’re right and the green on Orientals is just called jade. I don’t know! 😀
February 3, 2007 at 6:59 am #535451I was watching the 150 one for a while, but the horn irritates me. I wish somewhere else on it was damaged instead.
Got a busted Windstone?

There is a difference between Jade and Emerald as seen in this comparison photo of the original Orientals.

I know the original oriental dragon and young oriental dragon came out in Jade, Emerald, and Peacock (the young also in Ruby). However, even when the Emerald was the color of the piece, the original box from Windstone sometimes listed it as Jade.
I don’t know if the Jade color was ever painted on the Sun Oriental Dragon but I know it came out in Ruby, Peacock, and Emerald color (though probably listed as Jade on the box from Windstone).
February 3, 2007 at 8:05 am #535453All orientals are OFFICIALLY called jade. It’s the name on the box. The actual difference is an unofficial thing, and I’m not sure why it happened. So only those of us who are crazy collectors have noticed that some are jade, and some are actually emerald. Their boxes from the factory all say jade.
