OMG isn’t he frightening!!!! My cat Hobo is officially a vicious nurse eating tiger! My husbands home care nurse came to draw his blood this morning. Now mind you we told the home health team we had a cat and who do they send? This stupid nurse they sent us is mortified of cats. She spent all morning crawling up my walls every time my cat came near her. She ended up sticking my husband SIX TIMES trying to get blood out of him and she still never did it. We ended up banning her from returning and complained to the company that not only did they send an incompetent nurse but one that is afraid of cats. CATS?! Why on earth is anyone (especially with her kind of job) afraid of a little house cat?!What a cutie! Some folks just dont like cats. My girlfriend is afraid of balloons. 🙄 At least being afraid of cats is a bit more understandable. They have claws.
Phobias are hard to explain. I work with someone who is afraid of birds – all birds, not just big ones. And I know a couple of people who are phobic about cats. BUT I completely agree that since you notified the company that you had a cat they should NEVER have sent that nurse out. That is completely their fault. I would be really steamed at them – especially since your poor husband paid the price.

Duh, why would they send someone that is afraid of cats, espically since you told the company you have one. Maybe the company was trying to play a joke on her.
I’m just so mad that they sent her out and that she stuck my husband six times to try and get blood from him and not once did she manage to get any. I told them I would just do it myself but they said I’m not allowed to. She obviously had no clue what she was doing. Now we have to go out tomorrow morning to get his labs drawn at labcorp because of her. So now instead of getting off night shift and getting some sleep before going into work again I have to take him to have his blood drawn. I’m just so pissed off right now its not even funny. If she shows up at my house again after I told the company I never want to see her again I’m going to throw my cat at her! (ok not really but man it would feel good)
Haha, I think you would make it so she wouldn’t come back if you threw your cat at her. People have a hard time drawing my blood because I have small veins and they move. I would rather have my finger pricked then have someone draw my blood. I always have to get poked 2-3 times.
Ouch!!! Getting stuck once isn’t fun, let alone six times!!! 😯 Probably your “tiger” could’ve done a better job using claws.

wow. i know i can be a hard arm to stick a needle into, but SIX TIMES! was she looking at the cat more than his arm???
I don’t know I was upstairs trying to sleep when she was sticking him. I would never have allowed her to try so many times. My husband made me go downstairs to get the cat and bring him in the bedroom since he was giving her such a fit.
