What you get…
…and, like I always do, I even ASKED “will it be double boxed?” and they replied they ship Windstones ALL the time and know how to pack them properly. Yea…okay…the box looked smaller then the dragon… I took one look at it on my steps and was like “NO! That is NOT my Lap Dragon squashed in that tiny box!?!?” 😥
I almost have to laugh when I see the picture of the pieces with eyebrow that had the “touch of paint will fix it” chip in the same condition in left in though. Man… when it rains it pours.

You CAN’T even LEAVE negative feedback anymore. *sigh* I sent them a message and am going to wait for their response, but it arrived just today and I had been messaging them for the tracking number 2 weeks after the auction ended and just finally got a reply the other day for that.
I’m just afraid they won’t reply back at all… if not I’ll have to see if I can file a Paypal claim I guess. I was very nice, but kind of a smart ass about how I asked for the double boxing and was assured that it would be, but I did mention a partial refund. I don’t know if they will comply though. I HOPE I can fix it… I will certainly try, but it will never look 100%. That’s for sure.

With your ability to repair, I disagree. Put him together, and then get the paints from Melody when she’s able to get to them again. I don’t see any reason he can’t look like it never happened.
You will need the factory paints though, there is nothing out there anywhere that matches the paint they used on the emeralds.

Almost no one pays any attention to special shipping requests… my last two windstones from ebay I asked for double boxing, and both were only single boxed.
This is exactly why I don’t buy anymore Windstones from Ebay. Stuff like this just really burns my butt! 😡 They know how to pack Windstones… yeah right! I really hope you can get some sort of refund for the Lap. That’s awful!
Poor little guy! The damage isn’t beyond repair though, I think a little TLC will have him restored just fine. It would be nice if the seller gave you at least a discount for the damage though, it’s NEVER fun to see even a previously-damaged piece arrive worse than expected 🙁
I’ll agree with Kyrin about matching the emerald paint, it’s really tough. Best of luck to you with both the seller and fixing him!

I’m sorry, drag0n. I hope you get your money back, or at least part of it.Well, I tried pieceing it together with the remains left in the box that weren’t crushed it is wasn’t as bad as I thought. I managed to get most of it back together, now I need to fill in all the spaces with some sculpy or plaster and repaint her. She might be okay.
The seller promply responded and we’re hopefully going to work something out so that’s a huge plus!
