She looks like an oversized Lap, but I do think Melody said she might be the empress.

I thnk part of hte problem with using the Garden dragon would also be weight. If you thinkg the shipping and breakage possibilities are bad on the SK just hink how bad they would be in the Garden Dragon EmpressApril 3, 2008 at 2:10 pm #686359The real problem with the garden dragon is that it has a stone finish. In order for Melody to make her to match the indoor dragon line, she’d have to resculpt each scale. It may be a long while before that gets done, if she decides to do it!

My art: featherdust.comApril 3, 2008 at 5:27 pm #686360I hope Melody does an empress dragon someday but then I would want one in every color I have the emperor in and that wouldn’t be possible as several of them are retired colors such as emerald, peacock and the white also the ruby and rainbow. Awk most of mine are retired – no matching empress -cry
April 3, 2008 at 5:47 pm #686361I would say the secret keeper is the grown-up empress.
Let’s face it – the secret keeper is large, and in charge and much bigger than the emperor (which is usually the case in reptiles). Plus she looks like she wants to give the emperor a punch in the snot-locker if he misbehaves. The ultimate form of “yes, dear”.

No please no… no sanding or resculpting her. I need a dragon (or 3 or 5) for my garden

Melody said once, a long time ago that she was working on the OW dragon to be an Empress but the more she worked on “her”, Melody felt that the dragon wanted to be a “him” and “she” became the Old Warrior! 🙂

I agree. She would probably end up in my room or on my floor or something until I actually get my own garden, but I would love to see another, new dragon with a stone finish. I love my Rock Dragons.
