I’ve noticed the top two bidders on this auction bidding pretty high on a few other Windstones pieces previously. If they were serious about collecting you would think they would do some research about the pieces.

Maybe it’s an ego thing. I’ve been known to over bid on something once or twice just so the other bidder would not get it 😳 Sometimes you get caught up in the moment! LOL

I can not tell you how fast my heart was pumping las twinter when I won the 23Kt Gold Leaf hatching Empresses and OW. I did not care how much I had to pay I wanted all of them. I just wish I had not lost the 1st Hatching Gold Empress by $25

I think the only times I’ve rediculously overpaid have been when I bid before researching what something should actually go for…I did that fairly recently. Probably spent about $90 more than I might have if I’d been more patient. But you win some you lose some! I’ve certainly saved more than that on good deals I’ve found here and there…

LOL I think it is the heart-pounding rush most time when you want something realy bad that brings us back to evilbay more often than not! I know sometimes I am shaking so bad that if I am trying to snipe (I haven’t been doing it to other forum members since I joined, because I don’t have the heart…unless I don’t know who they are) I can hardly type in the amount and hit confirm… 😯
I especially have a hard time bidding against GB. 😳
I got my emerald Fledge for $35, and a few other great steals on ebay (wolf sconce for $34) so I really didn’t mind paying $182 (s&h inc.) for my young brown…Yeah, you win some you lose some. 😆
