Hmm….this looks like a classic “phishing” scam where crooks try to get people’s personal information to commit fraud.
Yeah, just call the IRS. When they owed me money, they sent me a letter. You know the IRS is not going to use something as fast and convinient as Email.

My art: featherdust.comThat’s what I was thinking to it maybe a scam for some crook to get your personal information such as a social security no. , etc. Before doing anything I would call and check it out with the IRS.

That’s good info. My local paper ran an article on this topic a few months ago. It seems like this kind of fraud is rising rapidly.
