I just got the coarse interference paints…and figured I’d try them out…
boredom and all that….
so I got a kirin painted him all black and attacked him with interference….
and his new home will be with Star….
Darn!!! I wish interference would show up better on my monitor!!! I’ll just have to wait to see him in person. 😆
Thats funny, Frozen! I did the exact same thing last night!! Looks very different though. Yours looks very nice!
How are coarse interference paints different form normal ones? This Kirin looks grainy… is that it? I like the grainy texture. It seems to add depth.

yeah the sparkley bits are chunkier…and they look grainy/sandy…if you don’t thin them….
but if then thin properly then they are just sparkley really pretty….
but these take a lot more messing with than the regular interference ones….
Hmm, I like the colors. I am not sure about the coarse interference paint tho. It probably does look better in person.

it takes a lot to blend it down….
this one does look cool in person…but that interferece can easily look really ugly

Too true!! Interference paints are really addicting, but it’s easy to overdo them! Your kirin looks nice. 🙂

Too true!! Interference paints are really addicting, but it’s easy to overdo them! Your kirin looks nice. 🙂
thank you….I like how the blue green looks in person…it’s weird in the photos…
I like sublte hints of interference…but this one was a learning kirin…
but I think star will still like it…

Another thing I thought of is I like smooth shiny looking stuff. Another thing I thought of is I like smooth shiny looking stuff. I hope you didn’t take it that I didn’t like it..cause I do.I’m not worried…I like the smooth shiney stuff way better too, but as long as star likes it…hehe
