A very kindhearted friend of mine sent me this link and I thought I would share it with all of you, since many of you are animal lovers. I know money is tight, but even if you can’t afford to vote, there’s so many nice animals to look at and rescue stories to read. It makes me happy to know there are so many people out there looking out for strays and unwanted (by some) animals. 😀 Enjoy!
October 15, 2008 at 1:42 pm #736517I could read those stories all day. It’s nice to know there are still people who care and put time and effort and sacrifice into helping animals like those.
Thanks for the link, lamorte.October 15, 2008 at 6:14 pm #736518That’s kinda cool! Thanks for the link.
October 15, 2008 at 6:55 pm #736519Awww, I’m a huge softy and had to go cuddle my sammy (a rescue dog) after reading some of those.
October 15, 2008 at 11:49 pm #736520I voted for one and I’m going back to vote for some others. Everyone deserves a vote. Plus, it’s a good cause. 😀
October 16, 2008 at 12:04 am #736521Thanks for the link lamorte! 🙂
I voted for a cute little puppy who unfortunately just lost his leg. All of those animals pics and stories just melt my heart though. I wish I could afford to vote for all of them! It’s sad to see some without votes. Every single one does deserve at least 1 vote.October 16, 2008 at 12:13 pm #736522Lam, you are much loved <3 <3 <3 xoxo
Oh, and dont forget, if you vote, you need the name AND number of the animal youre voting for. There is some space somewhere in either payment form (either PayPal notes section or IMOM server’s ‘purpose of vote’ section- or something like that). If you dont specify the animal/story youre voting for by name and number, your donation still counts but goes directly to IMOM and your vote wont count.
The best thing about this contest is that even if the animal(s) you know or voted for dont win, an animal organization somewhere will get 25% of the money and IMOM the rest. It’s win, win. And if you look at how much is raised already (voting ends Oct 22), do the math as to what 25% is, and some animal organization is going to get a well deserved boost.
Im happy for whomever it is even though at this point it’s so obvious I cant catch up with my votes for my Humane Society. Yup, my animals are in there 🙂
