I noticed on Comcast On Demand they now have Avatar to rent. I was always planning to see it but that never happened. So it’ll cost me $5 and I won’t have to deal with crowds or over priced munchies! Would have loved to seen it in 3D. I guess How To Train Your Dragon will be the same way….I’m so behind when it comes to stuff like this. I have this 27″ TV that is 14 years old and don’t even have DVD yet! One of my plans when I finish my studies and get that ‘great’ job is to update my electronics! I know what I’m going to do this weekend! 😀
May 15, 2010 at 12:57 am #815005Enjoy! They were showing ‘Avatar’ on a tiny little 19″ or so tv at the blood drive I went to yesterday, which quite amused me after seeing it on the 3d movie screen. 🙂
May 15, 2010 at 2:50 am #815006I just watched that movie myself for the 1st time.. I didn’t think I would like it at first, but it’s actually a decent movie!
Although I was watching it on a 110″ projector down in the den. lol
Yeah where I work, they were going to throw the projector away because it would over heat and shut off every 10 minutes.
I grabbed it and replaced a couple components on the power board and it’s worked great for months! Amazing what $1.50 in electronic parts can fix. hehe 8)May 15, 2010 at 6:49 pm #815007Saw it and loved it! I even enjoyed this movie on my little set–could imagine what it would be like in 3D! I plan to watch it again this afternoon! Yep, sooner or later [mostly later] I get with it and see the latest thing!
May 15, 2010 at 10:13 pm #815008Glad you enjoyed it! 😀 I need to break the shrinkwrap off my own dvd…
May 17, 2010 at 9:07 pm #815009lol I’m glad you enjoyed it, but 3D shows are not for ppl with ADD, I couldn’t concentrate on the movie, cus I was too busy watching all the objects flying in front of the screen

REALLY???!!!! 😮 Now I didn’t know this–that’s how behind I am!! Gotta check it out and I’ll probably go by myself since all the people who promised they’d go with me never stepped up to the plate! If you want to do something, you have to do it yourself!
August 26, 2010 at 3:47 pm #815014I freaked out when I first heard about Avatar coming back to the theaters. I’m SO there! It’s great to watch at home, but seriously, it just isn’t the same as an IMAX screen in 3D with killer surround sound. 😀
I wish we lived closer Fern, I’d definitely see it with you! I got all kinds of people to see it with me when it came out. It was also a great excuse to see it a gazillion times. 😀 ( Yeah, yeah I’m an Avatard. 😛 )
