So I was raised by boys! My two brothers to be more accurate! Needless to say I was a tom boy while growing up. I didn’t play with Barbie, (although I did love My Little Pony) but I mostly played with Heman, Voltron, Transformers, and my personal favorite, TEENAGE MUNTANT NINJA TURTLES!
So since I saw the new movie I have sort of re-embraced my childhood love for them <3 I actually still have some of my old vintage toys and comic books, most of the stuff I had though was lost either by my mother tossing it or just me being neglectful and loosing them over the years. So, if anyone happens to be hocking any stuff I'd be interested in just about anything.
I used to have this really old vintage sticker collection. Like, you could buy a pack of baseball card styled stickers in a package with a stick of gum in it kind of vintage. I just remember the backgrounds were yellow.
Not just interested in vintage stuff! I love the new series on Nickelodeon and ended up buying the whole 1st season on DVD and watching the whole thing in one day! LOL! So I'd be interested in new stuff too.

I yell at the screen when a favorite character gets mutated, it’s like a soap opera to me! I grew up on Ninja Turtles and My little Pony, too, and I absolutely love both of the shows that are on now, too! I also have my hubby and 6-year-old sons addicted to My Little Pony too! 🙂
My room mate is utterly obsessed with TMNT. I enjoy the series myself, but hands down she’s way more into it. She made an awesome plush of the new Donatello that she gave to Rob Paulsen when we went to MomoCon this year.

There are a lot of little things that bug me though like… where the hell are all the citizens in this city when all this hell is breaking loose?! LOL! There is very little collateral damage which I find both confusing and hysterically overlooked. It’s practically an abandoned city 90% of the time… Still a great watch nevertheless! I’m totally addicted. I watch My Little Pony too… normal adult people have their DVR full of dramas and reality shows or what not… and I have all cartoons! LOL!

Wow no kidding?! That’s awesome!! I love going to cons and meeting the voice cast/directors/artists! Always great people! Unless it’s Johnny Young Bosch… he was a douche when I met him.
I would love some custom plushies someday. I wish I had tome for another hobby or I’d look into making plushies. I actually got a set of the pillow pals for the back of my new car… LOL! They just looked cute and match perfect with my tiny green turtle van car!!! LOL!

I hated Barbie dolls but like you, I had MLP toys, along with Cabbage Patch, Strawberry Shortcake, Garfield and “anything that looked like a horse” toys that I loved. At the same time I loved my brothers hotwheels and action figure toys and I’d frequently steal them. Anyway, we used to watch TMNT ever religiously. Ahh, the 90’s. At one point there was a TMNT backpack floating around and we’d fight over ownership of it. Wish I would have kept all those 90’s toys and game consoles.
I haven’t had a chance to see the TMNT movie yet. 🙁 I started watching the Nick series until the cable company got into a tizzy with Viacom so I no longer have the Nickelodeon channel. 🙁
I still watch toons. The majority of the people in my American comic book history class still watch toons and they’re ages range from 19 to 60 (they’re all married with kids and NO they don’t live with their parents so your in good company.) I see a lot of Adventure Time shirts. 🙂 To quote my teacher, “This is the age of the nerd!”

I had Strawberry Shortcake too I think… I just remember the smell, not the figures so much. LOL! Cabbage Patch kids scared me! I remember I also had an obsession with (sorta My Little Pony rip offs) Curly Kittens and Fairy Tales Birds. I still have a bunch of those! ^_^

I actually already have all the original comic series in a set of hardcover books, otherwise I’d probably be all over it! ^_^
Other then those books, DVDs, and a couple little “grab bag” items like blind box necklaces, charms, stickers and what not that’s about all I have. well, other then a couple of my old vintage figures, but I actually couldn’t find them when I was rummaging in my attic the other day so I actually don’t even know if I still have them… which will stink if I lost them when I moved last. I ALMOST think I let my boyfriend sell them on ebay to help pay for an auto repair when we first started dating… I’ll be sort of mad at myself in retrospect if I did, but I sorta think I did. I had those and a bunch of old beast wars transformers figures too. (although I DID find THOSE of course)
I’m trying to find the 2nd season of the 1st show that was on Nickolodeon. I don’t know why they used DVDs are so damn expensive on amazon. Must be hard to come by nowadays I guess.

Just ended up with 4 big plishies in the back of my Kia Soul too… It started out as a “Awe, this Raph pillow is cute!” *implulse buy* “Awe… he looks lonely, I wonder if they other ones are available?” One google search, 2 Targets, and 3 Walmarts later I have the whole set just chillin in the hatch back!
