Basically yep. In the army if they wanted to stay/get married then one of them would have to leave the Army. I don’t think it matters if the couple is different branches of the military though.Congrats Ski!!! This is the happiest news I’ve heard in a long time!!! Hmm…this is different from what Ski mentioned. It seemed to me that DM asked about if they were to become officers after the couple got married. Getting married before one is promoted is okay, but after the marriage is where prolems arise.

Then you and Ski are in agreement. DM was asking about one person getting promoted to officer after the two were already married (same as Ski’s situation).

Blah I worded some of that wrong. It should have head something more like this: Getting married before one is promoted is okay, but after promtion to officer getting married to an enlisted solderi is where prolems arise. Neither Ski, nor Paul, should have to quit the army since they are getting married before he is promoted to an officer.
Back on topic, Congrats again Ski! Good luck getting everything ready in time.
