what Windstone would you try to grab on the way out? I was thinking about this last night as I was going to sleep. I still haven’t made up my mind.
Depends on if I already had all my children and animals out, but then it would depend on what I had, if I had the SK, that would be the one I’d grab.
And of course, when it came down to a kid or animal versus the Windstones, the Windstones will lose, they are replacable, kids and animals aren’t.

Seconded on the saving of humans and pets first though. My boyfriend and my cats need to be safe before I’d even think about the Windstones.

Well, for me it’s easy… my snake lives with my parents, no kids yet (dammit :cry:), and my hubby better be helping!
But I’d rescue my Blue Violet Flame OW cuz he’s super easy to get to… but otherwise, I must admit I have other stuff I’d go for over my other Windstones… but partly because my curio’s a major pain in the @$$ to get anything out of 😡
Good lord, I’d be too busy trying to catch the cats. Who would have placed themselves in the hardest to reach place. But if I could rescue one of the windstones, I’d have to say my BG OW.
Well, the question what windstones would we grab does imply that all kids & pets are out, maybe as well as anything higher? (I have a couple of my mom’s paintings I would grab, and told husband once he had to grab them over the Wyland sculpture he said he would grab. 🙄 ) I would actually grab my silver OW and the em kinglet (they are next after the paintings anyway!). Actually had this discussion w/husband a year ago, and afterward I copied all our pics on CDs and stored them at my parents’ house, ’cause I would hate to lose family pics. Guess it’s time to update.

Probably my Calico Flap Cat and my Tan Griffin. I love Emperor Midas, but I can always get another Gold Emperor. Those first two would be harder to replace.
Although there are some other things I would like to grab too, like the bound copy of my thesis, photos, and copies of the things I’ve written. And diplomas, writing awards, and things like that. And that’s all assuming the hubby and cats are safe first.
That’s so not what I think about before going to sleep…

I have to say I would grab my peacock and ruby old warrior since they are right next to each other. Then I would have to try and save my white flap cat because she is so cute. I think I would cry if I couldn’t manage to save her.
My mother and grand unicorn and if I had another free arm, one of my male griffins. That is a tuff one. Now that I have so many (than I did last summer) it’s hard to pick just one. 😕
The first thing I would grab would be my laptop, I think. But if the only thing I had to worry about were my Windstones…
I have mostly big pieces. I would only be able to take my emerald Riser and BEP OW, I guess, unless I did a few trips. Those are my favorites, but I would cry to lose any of them.
