Actually, the only retired pieces coming to mind at the moment are a peacock risisng spectral, and the kirin adults as gifts. But I have purchased my most recent pieces after their retirement, so I could have saved myself some cash and grief by buying back-when!

I wasn’t long out of school, money was tight, and there was only one shop in town that carried Windstones. That store went out of business; I finagled a free hour from work and fought my way into their 50% off sale. I spent my entire hour . . . agonizing over a wind chime, for the love of Mike! 😯 🙄 While the entire Ki-Rin family sat in their display case, along with a Black Griffin and I don’t know what else trying to get my attention. AAAGH! Why was I so convinced I had to have a wind chime, and why did I ignore the Windstones? I was a big fan even then. It must have been early senility. 😛

i wish i would have snagged the entire white family(including emp) from a store in ohio(where i used to live) back when iw as younger..the store was closing down and was selling the entire family for $800
