If you could write a book on any subject, what would you write about? Would you write science fiction? romance? historical novel? biography? What are you dying to write about? 🙂
I’m actually going to put together a science fiction reader/textbook for college classes this summer. It will be a compilation of short stories and sections of novels from academia-quality science fiction authors with questions for teachers to use to inspire writing assignments or class discussions.
If I were to write a book (and I am also working on a couple of those), it would be more fantasy in nature. I’m not very good at science, so getting that part right would be a challenge.
Well, I don’t have a publisher yet, but I’m going to put it together anyway. Once it’s together, I hope to sell it then.
Gosh that sounds like a good plan. Do you use science fiction alot in school?
I want to write a handbook on weight loss but I doubt I will ever get around to it.
How about one on procrastination, Ski? I would buy it. 😆

Star, I meant sell it to a publisher. 😆 I must be more specific about these things. I don’t want to self-publish. That will never help my career.
Ski, yes, I use science fiction in one of my classes. I would like to use more. I’ve also heard of other classes using sci fi texts, and the frustration teachers have with not being able to assign only one book with many texts/authors in it. Hopefully, my book will fill that niche.
That sounds cool. I hope it works out and you get published… then I want an autograph. 😛
