May 31, 2007 at 12:26 am #582035We might be able to work something out! 😆
May 31, 2007 at 12:42 am #582036I emailed Susie and she said they don’t have replacements for the orbs so maybe us missing them can find something else that is nice to replace the orb.
May 31, 2007 at 1:36 am #582037i’m sure there is something out there that could work.. between regular pearly marbles like at michaels and pet stores for fish bowls, to something in a stone/crystal/magic gift shop….hmmm. thanks for letting me/us know about the factories’ lack of orbs. that really helps in planning!
June 7, 2007 at 9:49 pm #582038Has anyone else gotten their windstones yet? I just got my lap and I have to admit I’m a little dissapointed…
There is a chip/rub on his nose. And on close inspection I can see where he was damaged on his claws and they painted it in another green.
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
June 7, 2007 at 11:09 pm #582039I hope that the store told those of you who bought from them about all of the bites and chips! Some, like I said, are in good shape but others have been through the ringer.
June 7, 2007 at 11:10 pm #582040I was told that she didn’t see any chips. I think I’ll be giving them a call.

June 8, 2007 at 1:37 am #582043i’ll be curious to see how my pieces show up. ! i’ll let you know when they arrive! i got the oriental “without the orb and only one small chip on the toe/toenail” and a male thats” fine with no damage i can see” . we will see if it holds true. i hope so, but if its minor i don’t mind touching them up. i have perfect paint. long as the arrive intact is my main concern!
June 8, 2007 at 1:48 am #582044I was glad mine didn’t have far to go because they came wrapped really well in bubble wrap and peanuts, IN THE SAME BOX! No original boxes and no tags and a chip in the wing of the emperor they forgot to mention 🙄

Wow, they told you it was a small chip? 😯 He is missing like 2 toes! I know my memory can’t be that bad 😕
June 8, 2007 at 4:10 am #582046My dragons came today. I purchased 2 mother dragons from them; one emerald and the other peacock. In our phone call they said that one had some chips on the wing, and I was given a 10 dollar or so discount on it, and that the other was in good condition.
They arrived today, both in the same box. I opened up the box and unwrapped the emerald first. Very dusty and dirty, and it looks like a few of the toes were broken and repainted. It had chips in the wings and a few around the base. Nothing too horrible, and I figured hey, for a discount, I can fix this and deal with it.
Then I opened the Peacock and realized my error. The peacock is obviously the discounted one. There are obvious large chunks of body damage and missing parts that have been repainted in not matching colors. The toes are broken and then the stubs painted gold. There are flea bites all over and just generally a big mess. :/ Had I pictured this to be the extent of the damage, I wouldn’t have purchased her.
At this point it would cost me again to ship it back, and I don’t want to deal with the hassle. Do I at least call, and if so, can I actually expect anything to come of it? Is anyone else ending up this disappointed?June 8, 2007 at 5:05 am #582047Welcome to the forum, Kindyll. Sorry that this is your initiating experience… 😕
June 8, 2007 at 5:19 am #582048oh gosh, now i am terrified! she swore to me she was going to pack them separately and charged me accordingly, we will see what shows up! my guys have to travel to the east coast, so i have my doubts if they are boxed together that they will arrive intact! hmmmm. ohhhhhhhh i’m not going to sleep right til they get here! i wonder how bad of shape they really are: missing toes vs. chipped toenail..hmmm….gulp! 😯 well if nothing else, the bright side is that they will be a good before and after example for repairs! there is the silver lining!
