If the Notify button is missing, it means we still have some but they are in people’s shopping carts. I think we have a little problem with things sticking in shopping carts after the order has been made… on the PYO Dragons – wait a while and you should see some go back into stock. I’m sorry – we need to make it work better still.
It appears to me that if an item sells out, but the “notify when back in stock” button does not appear, it means that the item may not actually be sold out, but the remaining pieces are in shopping carts waiting for purchases to be completed. If those purchases are not completed within an hour of being put in the cart, they will automatically go back into stock. When an item is sold out and the “notify” button appears, it means they are actually all gone. This is a little tricky, but seems to be the way things are working at present. We apologize for any confusion.
