😮 OMG I would be FUMING. 👿 So sorry this happened. They are so pretty to. 😡 😡 😡
December 4, 2009 at 6:04 am #794792Oh for Pete’s sake, people can be so lazy. 😡 I’m sorry, Nicole – hope it gets resolved quickly.
December 4, 2009 at 3:38 pm #794793*sigh* Poor dragons and poor you! At the risk of POing the sellers, I have taken to asking if they would be willing to follow the instructions in SPark’s packing guide before I place a bid. I send them the link right up front. I gage my bidding (or lack thereof) on their answer. I’m so sorry this happened and I hope the situation gets resolved quickly and to your benefit. They are beautiful golds and I hope you can have them repaired.
December 4, 2009 at 4:55 pm #794794You should have recourse. After all, you paid for separate shipping. I believe ebay has a policy on shipping price. I’m not sure what the combined shipping was, but it’s likely it was less than separate shipping, so they overcharged you for shipping. Plus, there’s a little blurb on each auction saying that the seller takes responsibility for the contents of the auction. If there was a pricetag for shipping listed in the auction, then they are obliged to provide what you paid for. It really does suck that they were broken, especially with how badly the male is broken. It’s not like you can just get your money back and buy a new one.
December 4, 2009 at 5:09 pm #794795Oh no. 🙁 I’m so sorry this happened to you! I hope things can get worked out with the seller. This is crazy!
December 4, 2009 at 7:32 pm #794796Thanks everyone. I have sent that packing guide to many a seller but usually when the feedback is over 1000 like this sellers was I feel more confident in their packing skills so I might not have sent it this time (can’t remember).
Anyways the seller emailed me this morning telling me they would refund me + shipping (I hope they realized I want my money back for the shipping back to them as well, I don’t think I should have to be out any money on this transaction even though I know the buyer usually fronts the return shipping). I told them I would email them when I got back from the post office so hopefully there is a happy ending in sight 🙂 . It’s nice not to have to fight with the seller through paypal about this whole thing.December 4, 2009 at 7:44 pm #794797NicoleH wrote:Thanks everyone. Why is a seller willing to take these chances and lose money?? Cause that’s what just happened! Geez it makes no sense to me…
December 4, 2009 at 8:04 pm #794798I agree. 🙁
December 5, 2009 at 5:43 am #794799Ditto that sentiment! The fact is that you and the seller both lost out in the end – all because the seller was too cheap and lazy to pack the items properly in the first place 🙄 !
December 5, 2009 at 6:33 am #794800ya it’s quite the bummer. I think I would have liked the male dragon best in that color so far to. He hasn’t really been my favorite sculpt but I think the gold suited him well, it was sort of hard to tell though since his nose was smashed off. Someday i’ll get a new pair… I sent the poor things back today, so now all I have to do is wait for my refund.
December 5, 2009 at 4:28 pm #794801Oh man! I would have gotten the refund up front! I would be too paranoid to have no dragons AND no money. You did delivery confirmation on the return right?

If they get them back and refuse to i’ve me the refund I will just open a paypal dispute and show them that the seller already agreed to the refund and that they already received the return items. Paypal usually waits until the items arrive to the seller before issuing the refund. Don’t worry I will be contacting them right away when those items arrive 🙂
December 6, 2009 at 7:04 pm #794803Nicole, give the seller my info so those dragons can be repaired.
I hate the thought of them going into the trash with such minor damage.

December 9, 2009 at 9:32 pm #794804Well I got my refund this morning, although I had to send them a money request myself after seeing they got the item and hadn’t contacted me…. And look they are already back up on ebay…. 😆 I just have to laugh. Anyways I am warning anyone on here that might be interested in repairing those guys that this seller has not been a good experience for me. They have horrible communication skills. I always had to contact them and they sometimes would not reply back to me. They obviously pack horribly, and if anyone buys these poor two dragons I would not be surprised if they arrived in worse condition than they already are… If anyone is interested in them I would be very clear about how you want them packed and make sure the seller agrees to the packing before bidding on the items. Anyways I have said my peace now, good luck to anyone who might deal with this seller in the future 🙂

I just saw them on ebay and had to laugh! Didn’t take long for them to re-list them. At least they are including the broken bits. I’ve been looking for a damaged male and mother dragon for repairing practice and re-painting, but I wouldn’t even attempt this seller. Personally I think they will be lucky if they even get a nibble – especially on that poor male dragon. I feel wary for any future buyers from this seller, considering all of the BS with them you went through. Well, at least you got your refund 😀 . Some sellers – jeez!
