We should remember to be mindful of how we are typing, especialy since Nam is away for a while. I don’t think people are getting nasty, but you guys know how easily subject matter like this can turn. 🙂 no need for it to go into a battle of who is right for instance.
We should all read the posts and keep in mind that people may have had bad dealings with this person….but people have had good dealings with her too! this does not mean she is a bad person out to swindle people, and we should remember that in any case…we have noooo idea what could be going on with her. I’ve had my own experience with the person too. People can still do business with her, just make sure you take precautions.
there are a few easy steps to help prevent from having bad transactions no matter who you deal with: remember NEVER to ship something untill you recieve FULL payment(if by check, wait till the check clears!). save all emails/messages until transaction is over. Give clear rules to transaction, like when you expect payment(s) and a stipulation that if items can not be payed for by such and such time, you will sell to some one else. Strict, but it covers your but….Normaly if some one intends to or un-intentionaly,rip you off, doing the above(in the case of being the seller) makes sure you do not get cheated or are stuck having no idea what to expect. At the worst you just will not hear from them.
And if you buy something and it is not as described, bring it up to the seller..or if you buy through ebay, file a complaint if it truely bites your britches.Nothing too hard to do. I think this is especially important over the net…even with forum members unless they already have built a good reputation with you personally in paying for items they buy from you, having good communication, and being honest. Some times people make mistakes…and some times people have other issues we can’t understand… but there still are ways to help protect yourself as a buyer or a seller.
Remember, even on this forum, you are still dealing over the net with people most of us only know as well as what we read that they type on a screen 🙂
It’s ok to be safer then sorry any day.(if they got an issue with that, maybe it’s better not taking the risk)July 2, 2009 at 10:24 am #772418Just out of curiosity…Did the Black Gold line ever have Special Paint pieces?
July 2, 2009 at 12:09 pm #772419Very well said Koishii!

I only remember two special paint black gold pieces (that both of which had 10 of them sold): Coiled Dragons and Rising Spectral Dragons.

Didn’t the Sitting Spectral also have 10 special paint black gold pieces?
July 2, 2009 at 8:33 pm #772422Thank you Koishii. I also take responsibilty for not noticing what was going on, but it is all in the past and no need to put any more energy into it. I appreciate everyones support, now lets go back to enjoying our pretties. 😀

I don’t ever remember seeing special paint black gold sitting spectrals and I double checked the database before I said anything because I thought the entire black gold line had a special paint version but it didn’t.July 3, 2009 at 1:51 pm #772424Well, I still have some problems not wanting to warn others about her because I was the one she ripped off the 4 dragons from, then proceeded to buy several thousand dollars worth of Windstones on ebay and sell others claiming she had mortgage problems, not illness this time. So just be careful!! I will quit talking about it, though and keep my bitterness to myself from now on (unless asked!)
July 3, 2009 at 9:42 pm #772425I’m sorry you went through that drgnlvr. I would be very bitter myself. If you want to keep talking about it feel free!
July 4, 2009 at 3:15 am #772426Thank you! I just want to warn the new people on the forum to be VERY CAREFUL when/if you deal with her.She may be fine one minute and ^considerably less than wonderful^ the next. I don’t want to add fuel to a potential fire, so if anyone want the details, they can PM me and I will provide them. I trusted her and she burned me for over $495, so just be extremely careful!! Ok? Warning has been issued, proceed at your own risk!
July 4, 2009 at 4:38 am #772427I also would like to warn people, if they are wary of trading with this seller, that she has used numerous user id’s on Ebay, so the only way to guess who this seller is would be by the low FB score and by the similarities in listing styles. To that end, I am posting links to the recent auctions listed in June, using 2 user id’s–one of her own, and one that was said to be her fiance’s. Both listings were nearly identical otherwise. Whether one trades with her or not is up to them. Or, another option may be to ask for an “escrow payment service”, where the payment is secured until you have received your item, COA and correct box to your satisfaction before payment is released to seller. Perhaps somebody on the forum is familiar with a reputable Ebay escrow service, but it is done occasionally. The links to the listings are below:
July 4, 2009 at 10:00 am #772428I think it is great you are both warning people. I wish someone had warned me.
July 4, 2009 at 11:01 am #772429Another clue is where the item is shipped from. Both sellers listed it as Henderson, NV.
