With my Windstone Dealer!!! I went to pick up my little rock dragon today and when I walked in the dorr he saw me and came over and said “We have griffins…” Gah!!! He’s got alot of new stock of stuff and even a Ruby Riser! Well I managed to fight temptation (Stupid rent) but told him about the new stuff coming and all and when I went to pay, he surprised me again with “I know you’re a collector” and GAVE me a Gargoyle Claw Logostone!! I also love them cause they know what they are taking about and take a real interest in what they are selling. That just made my Day!!!
nice to find a retailer who appreciates a serious customer! Could be the start of a dangerous relationship for your collecting habit –grin–

They told me they thought that Windstone shouldn’t let us fans know about new things, because it means they go out of stock at the factory right away. They hadn’t been able to order any griffins, and I guess they were frustrated about it.
I had to resist the urge to give them an economics lecture! It might be bad for them in the short term, not having enough things for Windstone to always have griffins in stock, but in the long term they’ll still sell plenty, and it’s WAY better for Windstone that the first batch sells out, rather than just sitting around unsold!
Everyone at Durands Limited Editions is wonderful!! They make it a point to get to know their customers and stay informed about all the stuff they stock!! They also stock (and sell) those giant Swarovski Crystal Animals that cost an arm and a leg and they think they could probably sell an SK or two even if they didn’t get hollowed.
Ah, that is wonderful to have such a great dealer locally 😀 Although, as Boskydragon mentioned, all that great service can possibly be damaging to your wallet 😆

I have one of the sales ladies who keeps asking when I’m going to get the rest of the unicorn Family, cause they really would like to stay a family 😀 Yea, It’s hard to walk out of the store with out maxing out the credit card, but I try to be responsible 😛

Have you seen the elephant Swarovski Crystal? Wow now that was beautiful. I almost asked how much it was. (Way out of my price range most likely.)
It sounds like a wonderful store. No one around here sells Windstones. And no one seems interested.
That’s great you have such a pleasant store to go to and buy from, fox! Awesome! 🙂 (And I’m not being sarcastic. I think it’s great when sellers are informed and on the ball.)
The Guy i finially got my Windstone From was really great he was so excited about me buying the Dragon and told me to come back as they were getting the new colour in 🙄 I may just have to order a few pieces through him 😀

It is lovely, they also had a Black Bull, sells real well apparently for corporate gifts. I supose we’re not called ‘Cowtown’ for nothing 🙄 and a couger (i want but WAY out of my price range). Thier store is really 2 stores with the walls knocked out and half of one is Swarovski Crystal. SO Pretty, So Glittery…..
