The eyes and the horn are masked. I have noticed other peoples masked areas are opaque, but mine dries almost clear. I’m a little worried about taking it off when I’m done. It ran behind one of the eyes when I was applying it, hopefully I won’t pull the eye out….

I already like the mane, the way it fades from gray into white. πŸ˜€

I am really liking the shading on this girl. Pretty!

Almost done….I need to clean up a few areas, some more shading around the mane, fix my poor application on the mane behind the ears(third photo) and do a few more coats of white pastel….

I’m curious if any of you pastel workers could give me an opinion of my work. I want to know what I can improve. Are there any books/videos that you like or that helped you? I’m self taught and I wonder if I’m missing anything key….TIA!

The mane and tail looks beautiful. How will you get the paint off the gold horn, though?

very pretty, i love the gradients of silver/grey you are using, blending the darker into the lighter.

Hehe I mean technique. Just looking at the leg hoof areas of your unicorn, it looks just like the technique I use. πŸ™‚
