LOL!
Also, if for some reason you can’t get your snails under control, you can always buy a freshwater puffer or some loaches. They love snails. :yum: Crunchy on the outside, chewy in the middle. π
Man… I want my big tank back! *pouts*

A note about fishy snail control: Almost no species can eat the MLT snails (trumpet snails) and clown loaches get huuuuge and stop eating snails as they mature. π

My art: featherdust.comFebruary 4, 2011 at 10:41 pm #837606I miss my tanks too!! π₯ I gave a couple tanks to the little boy who lived down the street. I didn’t have time to take care of them anymore and the boy’s mom thought they would be a good way to teach him to take care of something.

Yeh, I gave mine away too. π₯ One to a friend who had a snake, another to a friend who kept discus, and I have one 55 at my mom’s in storage right now. All I have is 5 little gallons. I’m probably the only member of our aquarium society with 1 fish! π
Be careful, Griffinlover, aquariums can be addictive. π
February 15, 2011 at 11:41 pm #837608Lol, apparently my Beta’s were always spoiled rotten. I jkept them in 50Gallon tanks. The 10 Gallon was for water changes/cleanings.
But then again I somehow managed to keep Goldfish, Betas, Glass fish, & Zebras alive in the same tank(for 4 years), & used Bleach to clean it weekly, also completely dumped my Tanks water then too. Then I learned that I was Doing it wrong. & well yeah they didn’t live to long after I knew all that.February 16, 2011 at 10:07 pm #837609I used to have puffers…they were SOOOO cute! I loved feeding them snails too, and their interaction with everything. I made sure I did everything right too! But, I had to give up my tank. π
