It’s the astigmatism that makes contacts so difficult for you. If it wasn’t for that, you could get the kind that you leave in 24 hrs a day and just throw away at the end of the week. That was my favorite kind, when I could wear them. When I woke up in the morning, I could actually see!!! 😯
Yeah, I know. My “torque” value is too skewed, it’s not that I can’t get contacts, the problem is I fall into too low of a percentage of the wearing-population to warrant the company to mass produce a lens in that range. So they just don’t exist yet, but they will someday.
Glasses aren’t that big of a deal anyway. If someone wants to judge you by whether you wear glasses or not, that person isn’t worth knowing anyway. 🙂
Yeah.. I wear glasses and I’m fat but I can fix cars, build/repair computers, do residential and commerical electrical, fix household appliances, put up vinyl siding, drive a truck with 13 gears and air brakes, milk a cow, run a web hosting company, do general accounting, balance the chequebook 😆 😆 gee what girl wouldn’t want me. 8)

I can do Internet radio broadcasting with call-in capability … I’ve considered discussing this with John/Melody about doing it with Windstone.
I can fix/install/repair Nortel phone equipment and do networking setups, both of which were in this pic … limited space made it an ugly job though.
This was a better job. I replaced the entire telecom/network/security system setup in this business after a leaking roof blew most of theirs up. This was the place I was contracting for at Xmas that gave me time to surf 😀
I have astigmatism too….but those new acuvue advanced toric something or others are really great….
and now I know who to call when I need to have some wood flooring put in….
I wish I had more pictures of the things I’ve done.
