I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of REAL (not man or manufactured made) Ruby earrings.
Ever since I got my ears peirced way back when to try and not lose the clip on earring I was stuck to buying for my drag appearances.
They are small studs but large enough for you to KNOW they are there, they are not all that small either, about 1/8″ across, but small compared to a number of earrings I have seen
I stopped in to see about getting new clasps on 2 necklaces, one mine and the other I had given to my mom for her 50th b-day in 1989, (which I got back when she passed away April 2007) also my Ruby and Diamond ring re-sized since I bought it over 20 years and about 70 pounds ago, yes I used to be TINY 5′ 8″ and 120 pounds, now I’m about 190
They where on sale for V Day coming up and normally I think they where only like $105 but I got them for $60 plus tax of course
I KNOW should have used that money for other things right now BUT with the sale it seemed like it was the universe’s way of telling me to get them and eventually things will be OK on the money front so they are in my ears right nowI felt wierd about it, but putting it out there helps
I even wanted Ruby Earrings BEFORE I had my ears pierced too so it has been a VERY LONG want since I had them pierced 18 years ago maybe that was why!! my ear holes are ALMOST legal adults!!!
heheheheIf you have been thinking about them that long, then its a good thing you got them. Congrats! If I am thinking about buying something but am not sure, I will wait 24hrs… if I am still wanting it, I will get it. You did good. 😀

Well, you’d been thinking about this for a long time, there was a great sale, and they sound like very nice earrings. Sometimes a “gift to self” is in order, and if you can find it at a good price, so much the better. 🙂 Congratulations!

I’m working this entire weekend today and tomorrow are time and a half BUT Monday is Presidents day and double time and a halfWe have not had that much rain lately at all
a friend of mine in Arizona told me So Cal is getting hit hard then hitting them but I’m in No Ca and still waiting for our nasty stuff
Ugh…I have a friend headed out for a couple weeks in Cali. Visiting his sister in Southern Cali, then headed up north toward you for a visit with his brother. He’s going with his folks, since they don’t travel by themselves anymore. I think it’s not allowed after 70 in that family. LOL But I know he’ll have fun, as he is taking one of his friends with him. 8)
Hope it moves a little bit north for you, as it would be nice to see someone around here making some good money! 😉 But then again, with the mud slides, I don’t know how far north you want it to get…Hate to see you all get washed out to a big sandbar in the middle of the ocean! 😮 :negative:
