😯 Uh…Papercut, if I was you I would wipe him off before you show him off. 😆
Congrats and glad you had a great birthday. 😉pegasi1978 wrote:Black Bat Winged Flap Cat for $54!
Oh you got him! Wow good price! Congrats! 😀March 26, 2008 at 2:45 am #631768Blackdesertwind wrote:pegasi1978 wrote:Black Bat Winged Flap Cat for $54!

Yep that was me. I’m tickled at the price. Last black bat winged one I tried for ended at closer to $90. I thought about changing my ebay name at one point, but after reading their notes about not having your ebay user name similar to your email user name (to help prevent scams) I decided not to change it.

OH no mine is the same! So that means I would have to change my email address… 🙁
where did you read this?March 26, 2008 at 3:03 am #631770It’s posted in one of these forums. I’ve been reading so many in the last few days that I don’t remember which one, but yes, it’s good to have your user ID different from your e-mail address. It cuts down on bogus second-chance offers.

Well I never answer to those…so for that I’dd be ok. But this still makes me nervous.
March 26, 2008 at 3:08 am #631772It was a recommendation they gave out to help prevent email scams. You could always change your ebay name rather than your email.
Seems some ebay members were getting hit with fake second chance offers because the scammers would try their ebay user id combined with some of the more common email services (ebay user id @ yahoo . com, ebay user id @ hotmail . com, et cetera). See the first section here for more information on how to protect your ebay account.
Here’s the announcement from ebay about Protecting Bidders & Combating Online Fraud.
March 26, 2008 at 3:17 am #631773Thank you pegasi 😀

March 28, 2008 at 2:59 am #631776The family’s collection of Curls is now up to 9!!! 😀 ( I brag about ’em once we get ’em home!!) in one fell swoop it our curl #’s almost doubled!!
March 28, 2008 at 11:39 am #631777Did anyone here buy that second pig gargoyle? Mine showed up today… finally. Bought on the 27th of Feb and shipped on the 6th of March. Not horrible… Buuuut.. it was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box. Looks like the guy decided the box was too small and put that box inside a bigger box…without taping the first box closed or adding any packing material whatsoever to the larger box. I picked it up and it just commenced to clunking around. its a miracle it didnt break. 🙄 I suppose our definitions of “double boxing” differ.
March 28, 2008 at 12:12 pm #631778😯 You’ve got to be kidding. How dumb is that? Thank goodness it didn’t break!
