I received my old green Male today. He wasn’t double boxed, but he survived the trip. He quite a few small chips and he could use a gentle cleaning. All in all I am happy with him though.

I got a huge surprise yesterday. I received a box from Windstone that I thought was my Gold Spot Male #3. Which confused me becuase I had an email from Susie saying he hadn’t been shipped yet becuase they were waiting to sign his letter. SO here I am thinking, UH OH they sent me my griff and he doesn’t have his COA. Much to my delight and surprise and when I opened the box there was note that said Happy Birthday and a very lovely Silver Lap Dragon. My roommate had bought her for me for my birthday which is a week from tomorrow. I was so totally not expecting that. This is the third Windstone I have been given, so she’ll have a place of honor with my Scratcher and Coiled male. All three have been birthday presents but it has been close to 10 years since I received the Coiled male. My Scratcher was the first piece I ever owned and he was also a b-day gift.

GLEE! I was showing off various Windstones to my husband and mentioned how Silvers were limited editions and how badly I wanted a male. Then I mentioned that there were only 9 left…and he bought me one for my birthday! Granted, my birthday isn’t until August, but he said that since they would probably be gone by then, he’d buy me one now.

GLEE! I’m getting a silver male! *dance*
