I think maybe its the smaller-than-mouse ears? I love their little paws-on the male especially…small and petite like a mouse, but strong looking and clawed like a lion (I know mice have claws too)

That is a cute one! I love what Melody writes about this sketch (and all of them): “This original pencil sketch is of Kirins playing on a pile of laundry. That is my tee shirt they are tugging on. The Kirin is a beautiful mythical creature that is said to be an omen of good luck. They are benevolent and pure in spirit, but worthless for helping out with household chores.” 😆

It really gives them life to me: -)
