But I thought I would share something I have been working on! I am going to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, and have been building a costume for Saturday, since they are usually too busy to do much but stand around anyhow lol. So here are the pics of my finished (for now) costume. I will probably tweak it for next year though.
It’s supposed to be an Anubis Jaffa from Stargate.
Arm and leg guards.
Belt, belt buckle and chainmail hangy thingy.
Boots.
Skirt, before I put the laces in the sides.
Front of the cowl, side and front armour.
Back of the same.
Chainmail suit.
Staff weapon.
Back of helmet.
Front of helmet.
And for reference theses are the photos I used to build off of.
Photos of me in the thing will have to wait until after the convention lol, but if anyone is coming please find me!

Yep, we live in Fort McMurray! We go to the CCEE every year, this is the first time I’m dressing up though, Friday I will be dressed as Clara from The Guild, and Saturday will be the Jaffa, Sunday I will be myself for most of my photo ops lol!
