My husbands 6 month broncoscopy is today and I’m sitting at home with the baby waiting to hear how it went. His mom took him because I had to work last night and tonight. I hope they get out soon because I need his mom to watch the baby this evening while my husband sleeps off the anesthesia. I wish I didn’t have to work tonight 🙁
I just called him and it looks like the doctor caused him to get a pneumothorax when they did the biopsy. They are waiting on another x-ray to see if it is getting bigger. If it does then they will admit him to the hospital and put a chest tube in. I knew I was too comfortable with all this. I have to work tonight and I just went back to work so I don’t know what to do.
Yikes! Can you take the baby with you to work? Can you find a sitter? Can you take the baby to the hospital and leave her with your mother-in-law there?

Mom-in-law is going to stay with him until we know for sure he will be admitted. Then she is comming to my house to watch the baby tonight while I work. Thankfully its my last night in so I’ll be off the next 4 days. I wont be able to visit him in the hospital though.
I hope its not too serious. Im sorry this stuff is still going on. Like you dont have enough to worry about, hu? Hang in there.
I’m still waiting to hear if they are going to admit him or not. I have to be at work by 4:30 so I wish they would figure out what they are going to do. If they are going to be stuck there then I need to pack up Alyssa and take her to the hospital so my mother-in-law can watch her and its an hour drive from my house. 😡
EVERYTHING so far has been GREAT I’m sure this will work out GREAT too
