My husband just yelled at me for playing with my old warriors. I had taken my peacock old warrior downstairs to show some friends (they are alittle too wide to make it up my steps). I figured I would bring him back upstairs to place him back in my windstone bookcase in the office. Of course my cat thought this was a great time to play bite mommies ankles as she goes up the steps. So I had to hold my old warrior against my body with one hand while I smacked my cat away with the other. In the process of doing this I managed to rub some of the gold paint off my old warriors tail. So now my husband is telling me to leave them alone and stop moving them around. Does anyone know what kind of gold paint is used on the tail of these guys so I can touch it up? You can’t even see unless you are right up close but I want to fix him anyway becaues my OCD is kicking in.
July 14, 2007 at 11:13 pm #599645I just use a gold permanent marker. That’s what Windstone uses, I think.
I don’t know why your hubby should yell at you, but they are fragile. I’d be scared to move mine around too often. Why couldn’t your friends just go upstairs to look at him?July 14, 2007 at 11:13 pm #599646purpledoggy wrote:My husband just yelled at me for playing with my old warriors. Which old warrior do you have? If you can tell me that, I can tell you exactly what kind of paint marker to get. 🙂

She said she had taken her peacock old warrior downstairs.
July 14, 2007 at 11:17 pm #599648i just use gold Testers paint..works great
July 14, 2007 at 11:19 pm #599649Yeah it was my peacock old warrior. My friends can’t come upstairs because one of them is over 400lbs so steps are a problem. I just thought it would be easier to take them downstairs so they could look at them.
July 14, 2007 at 11:23 pm #599650That does make sense. 😉
July 14, 2007 at 11:25 pm #599651Ah, sorry- I missed that! A DecoArt Gold Paint Pen/Marker is exactly what Windstone used on your peacock Old Warrior, so it should match exactly. You can get them from craft stores or even a ***Mart store in the craft section. 🙂
