What I’ll be doing for the day–FedEx does come on Saturdays (only I’ll be eating Smores!)! But there are other things coming to me as well–so it’s gonna be a long, long roller coaster ride I’m afraid! Checklist: marshmallows-check, chocolate-check, graham crackers-check, phone programmed to dial 9-1-1 at a touch double check!
All the PYO’s so far are gorgeous! I love all of them!
I can’t wait to get mine and to see what my swapee’s reaction is to mine! They should get theirs sometime mid next week if all goes well. 😀

It was pretty hard to keep quiet about this one. I also got to use the keeper that I had stored away hoping that someone from the swap would ask for one. I’m glad he arrived safely and that you like him.
Yaya!!! I got my swap today from Fauxbird!! (actually, I got it yesterday, but the mailman dropped it off at the wrong house. 🙄 🙄 )
I love this griffin Fauxbird! I was so nervous that the colors I picked would be a hard one to do, but you painted her beautifully! My favorite part is the yellow and pink on her eyes and ears! I took a picture of the opalescent stone in her tail. I didn’t know you could place a stone there, and it is stunning!! Thank you so much Fauxbird!!!

Squee, I actually DID get my swap today! 😀 It was from dragonmedley, and she painted a ‘skirin’ (that’s a cross between a skunk and a kirin, haha) for me. XD He is sooo cute, and his black & white design is cut out so perfectly on his scales! I hope you had fun painting him! That was what concerned me the most when I requested that my partner paint whatever they wanted. <3 <3
Anyhoo, I shall call him Flower (very original of me, right?)! Here are some pictures!
Now I must go and clear out a spot for him on my shelf. e.e *skips off to rearrange collection*

And those colors on that gryphon, warm and cool.
Still haven’t gotten mine. Surprisingly, I’m not on the edge of my seat… lol.

I’m glad you like it; I was nervous since it’s something I’ve never done. The idea had been lurking there for quite some time; I did have a blast painting him – I just love painting kirins. And Flower is a very fitting name. If you want, you could go with Fleur 😀

I love the way the colors on that griff blend and contrast–Fauxbird, you did an awesome job! And that ‘skunk’ kirin, dragonmeldley, how original–simple but beautiful. Easglefeathers and Kitsunelady are both sooooo lucky to have these! So now, I WANT MINE TO ARRIVE, I WANT MINE TO ARRIVE! 🙄 I say this ever so calmly whilst I check to make sure that button on the phone is ready for me to dial emergency services just in case this old broad gets too carried away for her own damn good! 😈 😛 😛 😆

😆 great ki-rin,sorry eaglefeather that they dropped him at the wrong house,at least you have him now,and im glad you like him i was kinda thinking of a sunrise while painting,though i really do like the pink and yellow they go together well,i was thinking of adding some interference but i thought he was bright enough(did not wish to blind you)oh the tail gem is a black opal doublet i had i think i got it at a rock show in a raffle bag a few years ago(enjoy)
Congrats to both you….I really like the Ki rin…. 😮 He is stunning.. I’ll have to get one for my collection one day… 😉 😀

That griffin is very pretty and that kirin is just adorable. I have a soft spot for skunks! So cute!
Calm down there, Lady Firebird! *fans you* Patience is its own reward, lol. But yeah, this is really fun. =) I hope they get the gypsum problem worked out so we can do it again (spring swap?)!
I decided to put my skirin on the second shelf with Koishii’s rainbow fish dragon, a logostone, and two Poads. I tried to put him on the top, but the only place I could fit him…well, it looked like the Poads were ganging up on him. Hehe. I stuck the card in the logostone, so now they’re together, anyhow. =)

Now there are a couple of people who got their pieces but will post later on after they get off work. So far we’ve seen everything but the smaller dragons–maybe that will change. Nope, mine didn’t come so I’ll just sit back and go through the pictures again. The keepers blow me away! There is so much talent on this forum it boggles the mind! I do sincerely hope that the gypsum problem is solved soon–wouldn’t mind if there was a swap in the spring–I won’t be as anxious having done at least one.
I did get a FedEx delivery but it was for some bird pellets I ordered–a 20 lb bag. As I looked at the box, it looked like size that could hold a SK! I would have dropped if it was! Now I’m snooping off on other threads and checking out pyos in progress. Those are mind boggling as well and this all tells me one thing–I’m broke and I’m gonna stay broke because I want alll these pieces! 😈 🙄 :spank: XD
