Oh, I’m loving that dragon! The griffin is pretty too!
I know if my swap arrives this weekend or next weekend, my parents will keep the package safe, since I’m gone both weekends on trips. Hopefully, mine will arrive in the middle of a week π

That was my first attempt at a koi anything, so I wasn’t real sure about it. He’s got some orange interference paint on his orange and white sections. I left the black alone though.

He is much different in person like you said though. π He blends in with the rest of the army well! π

Griffin army with everyone so far! πNovember 15, 2008 at 12:35 am #739580Oh my goodness I got my swap too!!! It’s from Maplecarver, and she is just gorgeous! Thank you so much Maplecarver, I love her so much!! π She is painted based off of the cave drawings from ancient times. She also came with a story (and chocolate…YUM!!) Here’s the story:
In ancient times, struck by the beauty of their world, artists honored the wild things by imprinting their images in the heart of the Earth.
Feisy ponies, thundering bulls, and proud elk all grace cave walls. And they are common even today.
But others rendered on cave walls left little trace. Though a lucky child may catch a golden glimpse and any might mistake cloven tracks for deer or elk, some creatures are seldom seen, save for in the heart.
In the caves of Lascaux France, in the Halls of Bulls amid the ancient images, is a dainty dusky equine, with a single vivid horn growing from its forehead.
Miss Tilden Lascaux is a descendent of that creature. Far milder than her ancestors, she remembers fondly the great forests, jagged mountains, and rumbling plains, but she does not need them. A quiet shelf and kindly company is her dream, and one she hopes to share with you.
May I introduce Miss Tilden Lascaux:

It’s the second time I’ve ever shipped a Windstone so I was biting my nails the entire time she was in transit. π
I have some in-progress pictures of Tilden so I’ll add those to my PYO thread soon.
Currently am typing with a big goofy grin on my face. π

Oh, I think you shipped her very well! As I was unpacking her I told my sister, “This box is packed perfectly!” It was seriosly the neatest packed box I’d ever seen! π
I’m so glad you have a big goofy grin! π -
