For a name, how about Houdini? Kitty sounds like he has a great disappearing act going on. 😯 Glad to hear the dogs are so calm about the whole situation.

Well, kitty has warmed up. Especially to the dogs. He is very invasive and runs up and rubs roughly against them every time they stand up. He has totally made himself at home, though, and has lost most of his fear. He still has no name and plays with the rabbit a bit too roughly. Dont mind his eyes in the pic… I poked them out. He deserved it.

He’s so cute. And admit it, you wouldn’t give him up now anyways… 😉

Kittens are quite the handful, aren’t they?

Congratulations on the new kitten – from the impression I have gotten of you he couldn’t do anything but love you when he gets used to you and Justin and the rest of the animals

I’m glad he’s settling in. He looks so much like my old Smokie.

Good luck. I adopted an older cat once, not long after my son was born. This cat never warmed up, stopped using the little box because he had to leave the room he was hiding in to use it, and eventually I had to return him, especially since he had chosen to hide in my son’s room and was using his clothes, etc for bathroom facilities.

Which was sad, since he was gorgous, but had obviously been left in a cage for too long and was unable to adapt to life outside of one. He’d been cagebound for about 6 months.

I hope your little cat warms up soon, and that he was socialized enough while he was waiting to be adopted. Sadly my cat had not been.
