Every year, when bonus time comes, I treat myself to a Windstone. This year, I didn’t!

Instead, I got me a new sword:

Picture’s a bit blurry, but you can see the triskelion on the custom guard and the nice curved quillions. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and really liking it. It came from Castille Armory, if anyone is curious.

For those who don’t know (which I think is almost everyone since I don’t recall posting about it before), I’ve been doing historical fencing with a rapier for the past few years. I also have a small sword and we’ve played around with the Hutton saber. The style is French, though this session, we’re learning the Italian style.

Bonus question: Which Windstones can you spot?

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Congrats! I know little about Fencing, but I can tell that is one gnarly sword!

And I can spot several PYO Kirins, as well as the brown Kirin family. Also, several orientals.
