I was tempted to bid on it as well, but I did’nt want to pay that much for something that could be in the store at any time. I keep checking the store, hoping that they will be some, but nope – nadda. I’m almost ready to give up on the PYOs, for now at least. I still have a few blanks left to paint including a Keeper, so I shouldn’t really complain. But still, it’s frustrating.

I still have 2 keepers to paint thanks to the lovely person that chose to commission me to paint hers, so i am by far not hurting to paint one.
I still am eager for the small ones to come back in stock though.

ROFL! I was going to say that i have 6 indoor/outdoor kitties myself, and they often frequent where ever i may be painting, what ever table may have the pyo’s.I actualy do both hand painting and airbrushing. You should see them when i turn the airbrush on, feet and fur fly every where!

XD I usually have a lap full of cats while I paint. I end up with a stiff brush trying to get hairs out of everything. I get most of them, but once in a while I miss one until it’s too late. Dangit! 😆 Then I try to find a way to make it look ok. Now, I keep a houseplant misting bottle next to me…Keeps that hair down! 😉 I don’t spray them though, I just have to pick it up and make it slosh a bit to get the job done. 😈 I luvs my kittehs though! 😀
If it gets too bad, I just put it away and wait for them to fall asleep. :yes:

ROFL! i just love it when one of mine fall asleep next to me when i am painting.
i give them a small smack on the rump when they get too demanding of my attention so they end up finding snooze spots around me.

I sit on my couch in the living room where I have choice of stereo or TV background noise. And usually I end up with one on each arm of the couch, and 2 on the couch one to each side. The odd man out is usually Charlie who prefers the kitchen chairs to the couch anyway. 😆 And heaven help me should I get up to go to the bathroom, as I know my nice warm spot will be over run with atleast 2 cats. 🙄

that happens to me too! I have my couch corner and my sister and i sit and paint and watch anime or listen to music with a cat on the back of the couch, a cat between us, a cat on a chair and if you get up, you come back to find your spot taken.
I actualy have a tupaware tub that holds all the paints and we use chairs as mini tables to sit our pyo’s on and water container.

We don’t actualy ever hand paint at a table, it’s almost all done at the couch. or a chair…or in the car….

I use a wooden TV tray with legs from Walmart for $9. LOL Easily replaced if it get too ucky. I never sit at a table, I honestly don’t know that I could. We even eat at the coffee table around here. I’m still not sure why we keep the dining set around, except for the cats. LOL That cheapo TV tray holds my drink, my water cup, about 10 vials of paint, and 1 or 2 PYO’s, oh and my desk lamp. I keep looking into one of those magnifying desk/makeup lamps. If I’m gonna keep painting pictures ont hese guys I am gonna need more than the 4 year old glasses I have. 😮 😈

Other than that, to actually say something about the original matter of the thread, I think a Griffin may be pretty popular right about now. I’d pay a little extra for one. I just missed Ski’s when she had one up a while back in the flea market. *snaps fingers*

awe man! one of my kitties freaking almost jumped into my paint on my lap! he is now curled up next to me, thankfully he missed the paint pallet.

i missed that one. I actualy got a griffin i have not finished yet, it’s been a while since they have been in the store hasn’t it?

Yes. 😥 I want some so bad! LOL I could crawl around on the floor groveling for days. 😳 I really do hope that they NEVER stop making them…They really are my all time favorite. But I am warming up to the Unicorns quickly. 😀
