I had a guy friend hug me like that once, but he only cracked one. I didn’t tell him until long after it was healed, and then it just came out one day while we were talking. I wasn’t going to tell him, oops! I didn’t want him to feel bad, and, of course, he did.

I did a good job today myself, sometime along the lines of cooking I set my knife on the stove and didn’t realize it had touched a burner and had heated up. So I picked it up and proceeded to cut some cheese…you know how you put your palm on the back of the blade to push down, well I did that, and immediately burnt a nice 4 inch strip on my palm.
I dropped the knife immediately and dove for the nice freezing water that comes from the well and ran it over my hand for a good 10 mins, but I still have a blister and it hurts quite a bit. Could have been worse I guess.
So I guess we should both be more careful, no?
Oy! Anyway, I hope you heal up quickly and that you aren’t hurting too much.
