Did they say they were going to refund the shipping?
They didn’t specifically mention shipping but they said “full refund” which would include shipping would it not? Maybe that’s a mistaken assumption on my part, I’m not always up with Ebay lingo.
Well, I would asked them. Some people think it includes shipping and some people do not. Double check the auction to see if it says that. The auction itself said nothing about refunds but it was something the seller mentioned repeatedly in our private exchanges that they would only offer a full refund if I returned the item. If you check out the link I gave on the first page, the auction page itself was devoid of any refund policy (though the seller told me to refer to their refund policy and I was like “…There is no policy listed”)
To be honest, this seller has a really bad attitude about working problems out so I doubt any email on my part will convince them to refund the shipping, I’ll just get another rude reply.
Personally, I would expect a full refund plus shipping if an Ebay seller sold me an item that was listed inaccurately. I shouldn’t have to eat shipping costs because of a mistake (or intentional lying or deceiving) on the seller’s part. So, in this case, I think a negative would be justified even if the seller didn’t directly state they’d return the shipping cost. But expect a follow-up retaliatory comment on the positive they already left you.

Yeah, I didn’t want to re-read thru it. hehe. I guess I would leave them a neg or neutral then. I know they already left feedback, but they can still comment on it. It is too bad you can see the detailed feedback after the regular feedback is posted.June 21, 2007 at 12:12 am #582243😯 😡 👿 If she stated to you that a “full refund”, which would include shipping, would be given upon reception of the dragon, then yes they should have refunded the total amount with shipping. It is not to late to file a ‘not as described’ complaint.
You should contact them and specify what they had said to you and if in 24 hours they have not replied or are rude to you, then the apropriate thing is to leave negative feedback.
How’s this as negative feedback ‘sent back chiped dragon, not as describe, won’t refund ship, very rude,BEWARE!’
It fits and you still have 5 more letters you can fit in.
PS: make sure you keep save up in your computer all the emails and messages between you. It could save you.
Good luck 😉June 21, 2007 at 12:44 am #582244dragonessjade wrote:sunhawk wrote:dragonessjade wrote:sunhawk wrote:dragonessjade wrote:Did they say they were going to refund the shipping?

I would not worry about leaving neg feedback and do it if you think it is appropriate.
Personaly I think so.June 21, 2007 at 4:42 am #582245SPark wrote:I’m wondering if I shouldn’t add a description of all this to the black list, just because I’d personally rather be warned about them before bidding.
I would warn for their attitude if nothing else. You have my blessing to take whatever you’d like from this thread for your list.

I will try a last attempt to get the shipping cost back (because I paid exactly the same to mail it back to her)
Arg gotta love ebay! LOL Thanks for your thoughts 🙂

Good luck 😉Thanks for the feedback sample, that’s actually quite useful!
I’m leaving on a trip this friday so I don’t think I have time to file and follow through with an official complaint and the fact that her refund policy isn’t listed there doesn’t help.
Oh I definitely kept all the emails and messages sent about this! LOL
June 21, 2007 at 4:51 am #582248I’m rereading the messages we sent each other now and damn, she DID mention it was a refund minus shipping cost. Bugger it.
June 21, 2007 at 5:11 am #582249Here’s what I’m thinking of writing:”arrived chipped, not as described, hostile – blamed me 4 chip, gave refund(-S&H)”
I guess I should leave it neutral since she did refund me as she said she would….part of me wants to be as petty and make it negative LOL
