Oh my god the seller is a pain in the *bleep*! Do you have a picture of the dragon that you’ve taken from that side that we could compare with hers. What I don’t understand is why she didn’t take a picture of both sides of the dragon. With most colectibles like this you take photos from a couple angles so folks can see the whole piece.
In regards to it taking so long to get to you did you remind her that since you are in Canada that sometimes things get held up at customs?
I agree with everyone else’s advice about getting in touch with eBay about her.
Here’s a picture I took of the other side. You can still see the indent for the chip but you can’t see the actual chip
Apparently she thinks a package can actually get to Canada from the US in 2 days using Priority, I’ve never had a package take less than a week when it was from the US.
The auction never listed where the dragon came from, only AFTER did she admit that she had bought the dragon from someone else :/ The dishonesty just keeps adding up!
I emailed Ebay about it, she did offer a refund if I mailed it back but the refund policy wasn’t listed on the auction so I’m worried if I take her up on it and she backs out in the end, will Ebay tell me “well if it wasn’t in writing, you shouldn’t have sent it back” or something.

At this point keeping it would only confirm to the seller that she is right in assuming you were trying to scam her. Besides, every time you look at it now you are going to remember this situation. It’s better to return it and start over with another seller.
Yeah I was thinking about that too, how I don’t MIND the chip itself and I wouldn’t mind fixing the scale but every time I look at it, I remember where he came from and it gets me riled up a bit heh heh
June 2, 2007 at 7:27 pm #582198Looking at yours and comparing with hers you can just barely make out the indentation on the original. If you didn’t know it was there though – that would be a toughie. 😕 Hopefully things will work out for teh best.

Awwww you guys are so awesome, thank you so much for the offer! All of you have done so much to cheer me up about the situation, I was really bummed that it spun out like this. I love you guys!

i offered first ::Sticks tongue out:: 😆
sorry im insanely evil today 😈Yeah, but it didn’t sound like you really wanted to get rid of it. That’s fine if you do. I’ll withdraw my offer. 😀
June 2, 2007 at 7:43 pm #582201LOL I’m not even sure what either of you are offering! But I still appreciate the thought!
June 2, 2007 at 7:46 pm #582202This is what I wrote the seller as my last thoughts on the subject while I wait for Ebay to get back to me:
“Do you have a picture of the side that has the chip on it? I took my own photo of the side that is in your photo and as you can see, the chip is not visible from that side:

Anyway, this conversation has degraded in a way that was not my intention. It was not my intention to threaten you or start a reporting war, I was just offering a way to recompensate me for your inaccurate auction without having to risk mailing the item back to you. I could have just left you negative feedback and be done with it but I am trying to work this out with you. I do not enjoy spending days arguing about the state my item arrived in.
In regards to mailing, the way the mailing system works, most mailed items from the US to Canada take around 7 business days due to customs inspections and other delays. I signed for the package on May 25 which CanadaPost can confirm is when they recieved my signature. I contacted you on the following Monday and then contacted you through Ebay when I didn’t get a reply. Also, a week after I paid for my item, I emailed you at this address to ask when I could expect my package. I have no control over how long the postal system takes to deliver a package to me but I did not wait two weeks or even three to contact you.
I would never have broken the Windstone just to get back my money, I am a Windstone collector and would be horrified to break one even by accident.
I asked Ebay for clarification about our problem and after they give me their imput I will be sending back the Windstone for my full refund since this exchange has soured my appreciation of it. I am sorry that you don’t believe me or my claims, I have done all I can to prove my honesty to you. I am sorry this Windstone will not be joining my collection permanently.”

I just saw the pics of Draco’s Peacock with two small scuffs and it’s such a lovely colour! ^_^
Thanks again Emerald, I appreciate your offer. I hope Draco and I can work out something between us since I don’t have any Windstones to trade (my collection is very small @_@) but I do have money and art! LOL
Glad you think my letter is okay ^_^

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only person who thinks so! Too many fishy remarks and circumstances for my comfort.

It is tempting. But what happens if she reports me for bad feedback, what is the worst that can happen to me? She already left my side of the feedback on my page, so she can’t punish me that way.
