Yes and apparently this is all a big effort by me to get back about $40 bucks by breaking a Windstone, colouring the break and then waiting two weeks after its magical arrival by owl to complain and harass her for a few days. Because that’s the kind of free time I have 🙄
June 2, 2007 at 5:05 pm #582183Huh, I’m interested in hearing the seller’s response. Although, I’m guessing she isn’t going to be very cooperative. I’m sorry you have to go through stupid drama like this.
June 2, 2007 at 5:07 pm #582184Wow, sunhawk, that seller is a real nuisance. She should get put on the black list, I think. Good luck getting through to her.
June 2, 2007 at 5:26 pm #582185Okay so she included ONE pic of the dragon from the wrong side of course, but it doesn’t APPEAR broken the same way it does from that side as I have it right now
But this is what she wrote me:
“I called ebay about you. I do not even have to offer you a refund. I am willing to do that, but not without the dragon. I sent this priority mail. It only takes 2 days to get to you and it can only leave on Mondays because you are out of the US. It has been over 3 weeks since you have recieved this. E-bay also said that if you give me a bad feedback because you refuse to send the dragon back I can file a complaint against you and I will. Your attitude has been bad since you have written. I offered to take back the dragon, you wnat to keep the dragon and get money back for an item that left my house in perfect condition. Send me the dragon back and I’ll refund your money or keep the dragon that you have apparently broken 3 weeks after you had received it.”
What do you guys think? Should I spend more money to send him back and get my money back or just keep him? I’m thinking just keep him, I’d hate for her to relist him and do this to someone else all over again.
I don’t even know what to tell her anymore, like I would break a Windstone just to get my money back, I collect the damn things and it would kill me to even accidentally chip one! LOL
Maybe I’ll contact Ebay about this before I reply to her again.
June 2, 2007 at 5:36 pm #582186You might talk to e-bay to see what they say. I think I would either keep it or send it back as you choose. It is your choice, she obviously is not going to change her mind and she might get nastier. Better to just be done with it.
June 2, 2007 at 5:58 pm #582187I’d contact Ebay. And then ask Mimi for advice 😆
As for returning it or not, whatever you decide, I’d be wary of contacting the seller personally any further without some advice. Can Ebay be an intermediate in the communication process? It doesn’t seem like the conversations between you and the seller are going to become productive, and as Wolflodge mentioned, it might only get nastier.
June 2, 2007 at 6:02 pm #582188gods…this would just tick me off emensly after awhile if i where in your situation..good luck with dealing with her 🙁
June 2, 2007 at 6:32 pm #582189Thanks for the advice guys, I think I will contact Ebay before talking to her anymore, as you say she’s only getting nastier and trying to make it sound like I’M the one trying to scam.
I’ll be checking the best place to contact Ebay about this but if anyone knows offhand who/where I should email about this, that’d be great help ^_^
June 2, 2007 at 6:33 pm #582190Oh my god the seller is a pain in the *bleep*! Do you have a picture of the dragon that you’ve taken from that side that we could compare with hers. What I don’t understand is why she didn’t take a picture of both sides of the dragon. With most colectibles like this you take photos from a couple angles so folks can see the whole piece.
In regards to it taking so long to get to you did you remind her that since you are in Canada that sometimes things get held up at customs?
I agree with everyone else’s advice about getting in touch with eBay about her.

This page should give you some tips. “I have a dispute with another eBay member. What should I do?” Look for the “Item Not Received or Significantly Not as Described process”.
June 2, 2007 at 6:44 pm #582192I would certainly contact ebay about her. I would also send the dragon back and get my money back. At this point keeping it would only confirm to the seller that she is right in assuming you were trying to scam her. Besides, every time you look at it now you are going to remember this situation. It’s better to return it and start over with another seller.
