I have 33,which includes PYO and production pieces, but there is a total of 45 living here altogether, because my daughter has 10 and my son has 2. I actually bought the first one,a baby kirin,as a Christmas present for my daughter about five years ago. There used to be a gift shop at a local mall that carried Windstones, but at that time I thought I shouldn’t spend the money, so buying one to give as a present was a means of justifying buying one instead of just looking and admiring! 😆 The following Christmas I talked my husband into giving me the griffin candlelamp, and the next year I received a dragon candlelamp for Christmas, and hippogrif candlelamp for my birthday. Then I discovered Windstones on Ebay and the collection has been growing ever since!
April 3, 2008 at 7:50 pm #68645628 total…
8 production and 20 PYO’s… 18 are mine and 2 are trades… 🙂
April 3, 2008 at 8:25 pm #686457😀 I updated my list since I forgot that I was waiting for a Tiger and Puffin. They arrived today so that makes 35 in total not counting the PYOs.

I have a lot of columns… Type, Color, Item #, If tag is attached, Original Box?, Condition , Condition Details (if not mint), Status (Current, Retired, LP, etc), Year Issued, Year Retired, Price Paid, Proof of that? (I try to keep receipts), Retail Value (if price paid unknown), Date Purchased, If I have a picture (I get behind sometimes). Plus I have all the costs added up (actual price I paid plus the retail value on the pieces I don’t have a receipt for), with and without PYO costs included. I also know the total cost per category, since I have seperate tabs for Dragons, Griffins, Unis/Kirins, Gargoyles/Misc (in my case, a Frog), Poads, and PYOs. Is anyone else that anal?
I think the only main thing I don’t keep track of is average selling cost on ebay. I’m comfortable with spreadsheets, but tracking ebay makes my head hurt.
Mine isn’t that detailed, type, colour, original retail price, date of first issue, retired date, id #, condition. Some pieces I’ve had for over a decade so I really can’t remember what I paid so I don’t have a column for that (and so my bf doesn’t know). 😈 I do keep separate tabs for the different sculpts, and any PYO’s I try to include the person’s forum name and real name.
Edit: Forgot, I also have a signed/COA column and I keep insurance pics in a different folder.
April 3, 2008 at 8:53 pm #686459My original answer to the question was: Not enough!
😆Let’s see…Browns, Male, Female, Hatcher, Fledgling, Lap, Young, Curled, all three Royal hatchers.
Unicorns, White Male, White Young, Black/white Mare (I repainted her pinto) black foal who will also someday be pinto, originally white. PYO Unicorn by Andrea Barnes.
Pegasi, Hatching, Foal
Flion, PYO dragon (2, one painted by Koishi), PYO Kirin, Baby Kirin.
PYO Griffon, PYO Keeper, PYO Winged wolf painted by FoxFeather
Old Green Curlie
Orientals, Jade Oriental, Emerald Young Oriental, OOAK Blue Sparkle Oriental Sun painted by Olympia.
I’ve also got a bunch of gargoyles, but technically they aren’t mine, they are my husband’s, but I still count them. 🙂 Unicorn, Guardian, Baby, Roaring Sentenial, Dragon, Vampire Bat Candlelamp, Ivory Dragon candlelamp, Trio of Dragons.
I think that is all of them.

April 4, 2008 at 3:35 am #686463I get a lecture when I buy a new windstone or I say I want to buy one.
April 4, 2008 at 3:44 am #686464lol I don’t have a husband or boyfriend, but I get an earful from my mother every time I get a new Windstone. My dad doesn’t care… he just pays for the things and doesn’t say a word. XP

I’m not half that detailed. I just keep track of color, sculpt and edition, though the latter (LE, LP, RP, OOAK) isn’t up to date, I think.
April 4, 2008 at 2:40 pm #686469Thanks for the tip, siberakh! 🙂 That would make things a heck of a lot easier.
