I don’t have one that needs repair, but I was wondering just in case I decide to buy a chipped windstone in the future. There was one windstone that I almost bought, and it has a chip on the tip of the hoof. Also, you’d have to paint over the chip right? Can anyone who has had this kind of experience help me? Thank you! 😉

If the chip is really deep, then you’d need to fill it in before repainting. I used plaster, but I’m not the best example here. Whippet’s good at this, and so are a few of the other members.

Thanks!!June 20, 2007 at 11:24 am #590813eaglefeather831 wrote:Also, I read in another forum somewhere that there is touch up paint I could buy from Windstones. Did I read that right? If so-where can I get some?
Thanks!!You’d have to contact Windstone directly for that. Susie or Karen usually take care of it, I believe.

Yes, you can sometimes get a little touch up paint. If you do, it’s most cost effective for windstone to send it with an order, so if you plan on ordering from them mention the paint at that time. Be sure to let them know exactly what sculpture you have in what color, and what AREA you are touching up! This will help them a lot.
Many of the old colors they do not have paint left for.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
